What has Oracle said about SAP?
Have you seen Oracle’s advertisement on InfoWorld Magazine (February 21, 2005 * Issue 8). As you know Oracle is SAP’s competitor and recently Oracle bought Peoplesoft that is another ERP company.
Actually when someone says “Oracle”, “database” comes to mind. Why? Because Oracle is a great database company. But Oracle also plays in ERP area like SAP with its Oracle Application products.
Let me come the advertisement. It says:
Oracle Application Server
SAP NetWeaver Exposed
ABAP?
DYNPRO
ALE?
RFC?
BSP?
These are not technology standards.
Oracle 10g - complete, standard and Internet ready.
Okay, SAP guys, Oracle guys what do you think? Is Oracle right?
