The Death of ABAP is Premature

Jon Reed who serves as a site expert on SAP careers for SearchSAP.com tells “The death of ABAP is premature” in Podcast: The State of the SAP Job Market.

I truly agree with Jon Reed. After SAP launching SAP Netweaver two years ago, everyone was telling that ABAP is going to die not in near future but in the end! Because SAP brought Java Development on stage!

Yahoo My Web 2.0 vs. del.icio.us

Remember I mentioned my bad experience about del.icio.us. It is a social bookmarking tool and very famous recently. After this experience although it seems there is no problem on del.icio.us any more, I started to look for alternatives and found lots of Web 2.0 generation websites. Let me give you some examples:

del.icio.us is not delicious!

Yesterday I thought I could start to use del.icio.us which is a social bookmarking website. I have seen and read a lot of things about it. I thought I should have given up to bookmarking my links with Firefox. I immediately created a new account and started to use it. But later on I thougt instead of tkaraca user I could use TuncayKaraca. So I created new one TuncayKaraca and deleted old one. But then strange things happened.

The people of the web world should take care of it with intensive love; so it can live for a long time and be happy in this world. What am I saying? Is it the beginning of a science finction story? I mean that itcserver.com must be visited by people who are interested in it’s topics and articles. But how? The most impressive and powerful method is search engines. Simply go to a search engine type some keywords in it, and then it should be come up in front of the user. Search engines have to recognize it. Amazing Job in GaETC State Tech Fair!

FSA Tech Team 9 students with 8 projects which are first place winners in Fulton County Tech Fair presented Fulton County and FSA in GaETC State Tech Fair on Saturday, February 25, 2006 in Tucker Middle School.
