Yahoo My Web 2.0 vs. del.icio.us
Remember I mentioned my bad experience about del.icio.us. It is a social bookmarking tool and very famous recently. After this experience although it seems there is no problem on del.icio.us any more, I started to look for alternatives and found lots of Web 2.0 generation websites. Let me give you some examples:
Believe me there are lots of different options. Searching for a good one is not easy job. Frankly I don’t like to signup free websites. It seems to me that giving my e-mail address and other information is not a good thing. But I know it is inevitable!

When I was surfing on yahoo, I discovered Yahoo My Web 2.0. Since I am a yahoo user; I use yahoo e-mail, my yahoo, yahoo search, yahoo messenger, yahoo groups; I decided to try it. I can tell you that I really like it. I have been using my yahoo to read my RSS feeds for a while and this is another experience with yahoo. I thought after del.icio.us it seems very good tool and even is a beta version and yahoo is still developing it. Right now I have 94 saved pages with 39 tags. The most of them are can be seen by everyone. Actually one of the reasons I wanted to use a social bookmarking website is to share my links with the readers of ITC Server. So I accomplished my goal. Yahoo My Web 2.0 has a tool that is called My Web 2.0 Badge which gives an HTML code to display your most recently My Web 2.0 links on your site. I’ve got it and inserted into sidebar. Just look at right up corner of the blog; My Web 2.0 Tags cloud right over there! Click them and see my links. It is good for you and me as a reference, isn’t?
My intention is here to compare Yahoo My Web 2.0 and del.icio.us. It is interesting that I found out (Yahoo acquired del.icio.us) (del.icio.us has joined the Yahoo! family); so they are not competitor!
