SAP ABAP Interview Questions Series
I am currently looking an SAP ABAP Developer consultancy position. It is not very easy to search a job and get it in USA. I say searching a job is like a full time job. USA is a country that has a very competitive market in all areas. If you look at positions on websites, you can see a lot of open positions. It seems it is a very good market. But when you approach these positions like looking description, requirements of the position and contacting the people, you will see that there are a lot of positions which are exactly the same position. It means many people who are recruiters look a consultant for the same position. There is one open position, but there are a lot of postings on job search websites for this position. It is very rare the company looks a consultant for itself. Sometimes even it is very hard to choose the recruiter for contacting. When you contact the recruiters, sometimes they don’t know any technical information. They usually don’t say the customer / company name. They are getting your resume than submitting to the customer, if the customer like your resume, next step is a technical interview on phone.
Therefore I would like to start a series, SAP ABAP Interview Questions Series. The objective is to collect some technical information all together, a kind of archive study, and to be ready for possible technical interviews. I am conscious about when I get a technical interview, I should get a big effort to take the job.
I will search and try to find valuable questions and answers, I will try to focus on my experiences. You will find SAP R/3 Architecture, report programming, dialog module programming, ABAP objects, ABAP object oriented programming, ALV programming, SAPscript, print programs, SmartForms, BDC programming, Data Dictionary, BAPI and RFC programming, user-exit and BADI programming, ALE and Idoc development, LSMW, Basis questions and so on.
Let me tell you honestly that I don’t have any SAP experience in USA. I have been living in USA for almost 3 years. I worked as a computer teacher in Atlanta. Since I have come to here, I learned web design and web programming (HTML, XML, XSLT, PHP) and a little bit of Java. But right now it is time to work as an SAP ABAP Developer. I am a certified ABAP programmer and I worked as an SAP ABAP Consultant in Turkey more than 4 years. I have a broad experience in ABAP development and I want to use this experience and get a job here in USA. Don’t worry I am a green card holder, so I don’t have any problem to work for anyone in USA.
When I write a question and its answer as a post, I will give ’series1′ tag beside other tags. So you can see all postings in that series by just clicking ‘series1‘ tag in tag cloud on sidebar. I hope you will get some useful knowledge and enjoy!
