iWay: SOA and Web Services Essentials
Google about iWay you can’t able to find a lot information. iWay is well known for adapter products but it is a pretty new in middleware market. iWay had announced its SOA Middleware product on February 2006.
In October 2005, IBI CEO Gerry Cohen had said:
iWay software is really an EAI company. Now we call it an ‘SOA middleware company,’ because that’s what the buzzword is.
Here are some iWay news:
- iWay Gets a Retrofit for SOA
- iWay Announces Comprehensive SOA Integration Suite
- iWay and Active Endpoints Teams on SOA/BPEL
- iWay Builds AmberPoint Tool Into SOA Solution
I’d like to share a good presentation by Jake Freivald who is marketing director for iWay. The presentation’s name is Service-Oriented Architecture and Web Services Essentials; download PowerPoint(2.28MB) or Flash Recording(58MB). He is explaining the philosophy of iWay SOA Middleware. There are two customer examples: Henny Penny and Colorado Department of Corrections.
