I attended BIT400 SAP Netweaver Exchange Infrastructure
I attended BIT400 SAP Netweaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP Netweaver Process Integration) course on Nov 26th - 30th at MicroTek in Chicago.
We use SAP XI. We have an SAP AII and PEAK Automation Controller (RFID Controller). And SAP R/3 is 4.6C. I don’t have any experience in XI. So the question is how all systems work together. Why were XI, AII, PEAK implemented? What was intention? The key point is here RFID. We have printing RFID labels and sent them to some customers.
As you see that I need to work on XI, get hands-on experience and understand the existing processes. Maintain, watch, develop, trace, etc…
The course was quite useful. I’ve seen the big picture which how XI works. I am familiar with terminology anymore! If you say IR, ID, SLD; I’ll understand what you mean.
I met some folks from SAP world. Customers, consultants, ABAPers, Basis guys, etc.. Some are new at SAP, some are experienced.
I am going to go to Atlanta for attending other two SAP XI courses next week. It seems 2008 will be XI year for me. I’ve currently a middleware product experience that is iWay SOA. Therefore I will see SAP XI rocks or not!
